"My goal is to combine Art with the preservation of nature".
Jacklyn is an American artist. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibits and competitions in the U.S., France and in Germany before moving to Singapore in 2012, where she lives with her husband Matthias and son Sebastian. Her self-portrait "The Night" was selected by Manhattan Arts International 2007/2008 in the catagory "Best in Oil Painting". She works mainly in oil, pastel and acrylic. Her subject matter is found in nature. She travels extensively to gather inspiration for her artwork visiting National Parks and animal conservation projects. In 2010 she started focusing on creating art supporting the preservation of nature in southeast Asia. She creates and celebrates beauty and emotion and “gives a voice to the part of nature that cannot speak”. In 2013 Jacklyn established the Singapore based company Art is Wild. www.artiswild.com Art is Wild is responsible for the exhibition and sale of Jacklyn`s Art and for various projects supporting nature conservation and animal rights projects. Parallel to the exhibition of her artwork she composes and gives entertaining foto presentations on the themes represented in her artwork for adults and children, and children`s workshops. She is an Artist member of the Southern Palatinate Art Guild in Germany and View Arts, the Art Society of Old Forge, New York. Her works are in private collections in Germany, France, the United States and Singapore. She is currently represented by Maya Gallery in Singapore.
